I'm so happy you're here — let me share a bit about myself and the story behind Cortijo La Zapatera.

Back in 2017, I took a leap of faith and followed my dream: moving to sunny Spain and opening my very own bed & breakfast. After a heartfelt search, I found myself captivated by the magical Axarquía region, just east of Málaga. I instantly fell in love with the area's breathtaking landscapes, charming white villages, and the warmth of its people. It was here that I found my perfect place: Cortijo La Zapatera.

Every corner of the house, the cozy rooms, and the inviting apartments has been decorated with love and care, always with you — my future guest — in mind. I want this to be a place where you instantly feel at ease, surrounded by beauty and comfort.

Running this B&B is more than just a job for me; it's a reflection of my passion. My background in Facilities Management, my extensive travel experiences around the world, and my previous relocations and work in hospitality have all shaped the way I welcome and care for my guests. But I don't do this alone — I have a fantastic team by my side. And of course, my loyal dog and two ginger cats are always around, adding an extra touch of home and security.

My goal is to let you experience the best of Andalusia, so that you go home with unforgettable memories of a wonderful holiday.

THE NECESSITIES

  • A minimum stay of 3 nights for the B&B rooms
  • A minimum stay of 4 nights for the apartments

Terms and Conditions for Direct Bookings

The following terms and conditions apply to guests who book directly through our website. For reservations made via Eliza Was Here, the terms and conditions set by their platform will apply to your booking.

Payment Conditions
Upon receiving your reservation, you will receive a separate request to pay a deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay. Your reservation will be confirmed once the deposit has been received. The remaining 50% is payable upon checkout.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made up to 14 days prior to the arrival date are free of charge, and your 50% deposit will be fully refunded.
  • For cancellations made within 14 days of arrival, 100% of the total booking cost will be charged.

Don't forget to take out cancellation insurance and travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
